Week of 1/17
Today is a good day. After working diligently over the three day weekend, my partner and I have successfully achieved a working product. We are no longer under scrutiny from our instructors as we have delivered in a huge way. This week is a busy one, and we are coming to the halfway point of the year. We will be giving our formal progress updates this week, and mine will take place on Friday. So for the end of the class today, I will need to have my FPU Outline completed and submitted. After the FPU's we will then have to complete our midterm, which is the math and science portion of our projects. Right now, I intend to happily work through the period, carrying the momentum of a job well done over the weekend. Thank you.

Update 1/14
This week marked the week of migration from the CAD Studio to the Systems Lab. This shows that we are progressing in the project. I was able to update my calendar, finish my mentor contacts, and begin production this week. I do not have a lot of time to finish this blog, as I spent most of the period in the the lab. A more detailed report will be given on Tuesday. Thank you.

Update 1/11
Yesterday was a trying day, there is no denying that. After much frustration, disappointment, and rejection, my partner and I have decided the only feasible option will be to move forward with the project in a completely new direction. We will now be trying to create a rudimentary final product that we will create based on our specifications, but not perfectly on our limits. We will be using PVC pipe as there is simply not enough time to create the project as we wished to in the beginning. I will do my best to have a finished product for Tuesday, and that's all I can do. Thank you.

Week of 1/10
This week is going to be hectic to say the least. We now need to find an alternative way to create our mold. This is a large unexpected inconvenience and I truly do not know what the best way to attack this is going to be. We will need to work much more than anticipated to finish our project now, and in all honesty it is not looking good.

Update 1/7
This week was a peculiar one to say the least. In addition to the misunderstanding I had with my partner, my instructors and I also seem to be in something of a funk. I realize now that they only want what is best for me, and I will look to be more open to their suggestions in the future. As far as the construction goes, I have obtained all of the necessary materials needed to create the electrical system, as well as house it. The only thing that is left to do is construct the actual device. Once the device is constructed, we will beging trying to integrate the two pieces and by doing so, we will signal the completing of the project. I am not worried about the approaching deadlines, and I honestly have no doubt that I will finish my project with ample time left in the second marking period. In addition to the acquisition of my parts, I have also recorded down my mentor contacts for this quarter and anticipate receiving a strong grade on that part of the syllabus. That is all for now, thank you.

Update 1/4
I am very pleased to be able to tell you that the conflict I mentioned earlier with my teammate has been resolved. I now have an added aspect of my project, which will be to create the housing compartment for the electrical system. This is a great deal of work to do in a short time period but it is better than having to fight with my partner. Now that the rife has been patched over with friendship, we are both free to work together and be as efficient as possible. I need to buckle down, shake off the rust of the break, and get back to work. Thank you.

Week of 1/3
I'd like to start this post by saying Happy New Year to all of my readers! A new year brings with it new opportunities and a clean slate. I will look to keep some old habits while losing others. I need to stay focused now more than ever or risk losing everything that I have worked thus far. Production and construction has officially begun and I regret to inform you that my partner AA and I are currently not seeing eye to eye. I hope that will change as we will need to work together in order to achieve success in our goal. Thank you very much and welcome back.
