Update 12/14

Yesterday and the beginning of today are a good sign of this week. Work is getting done at an astounding rate, and I feel extremely confident in my ability to finish all the required aspects of the project in their allotted time. Today will consist of more work on my press release, as that deadline is fast approaching. Getting the press release out on time will serve as a microcosm of the marking period as a whole. I always believe in putting your best foot forward, and this would be the ideal instance. I look forward to updating you further on Friday. Thank you.

Week of 12/13

I come into this week with great momentum. Last week was the kind of week that reinvigorates you, and I will be tapping into this new found enthusiasm to shake off the ice created by the winter doldrums. This week will be pivotal for the first graded aspect of my project, that aspect being the press release. It is due in approximately a week and it will require much diligence and effort. I look forward to the chance to receive my first positive grade of the second marking period and I do not doubt my ability to succeed. Thank you.

Update 12/10

Following the success of my meeting with DA, we have been given approval to move forward with the project. This will include notifying WG about using her equipment to create a viable product for our final solution. The first part of the production will fall mainly on my partner AA's shoulders. Once the body of our product is completed I can help by integrating the electrical system in with his aspect of the product. I am very eager to get started on this part of the project, and I am simply delighted with the ample amounts of time that we have to conclude this project.

Update 12/7

Today I anticipate having a meeting with my advisor DA. We will hopefully go through my entire blog, and after that reviewal I will have a clearer idea of what is to be expected of my partner and I regarding our unique project. If the meeting goes as successfully as I hope it will, I will be given the go ahead to begin creating the actual product. I will most likely have to transcend my simple role as electrical engineer at first, to try and create the body in a more timely fashion. For I can not do any electrical work until the actual core of the product is established. I look forward to the meeting and I will update you accordingly. Thank you.

Week of 12/6

The first full week of December brings with it a snowy day, and a five day stretch of work. I have completed all Auto-CAD drawings that I find necessary to my design and I am more than ready to get started with the actual creation of the device. That will most likely first be used as a prototype, and depending on the measure of success of the prototype, we will be given the go ahead to create a functioning product. Today my partner and I are meeting with our instructors, and after reviewing my blog, I anticipate that they will allow us to continue. You will hear more tomorrow. Thank you.

Update 12/3

This week was a very demanding one, but I am glad to say I met all the challenges that awaited me. The Auto-CAD drawings have reached a level of extreme precision, and I am satisfied with their current state. Next week I will continue to develop my initial ideas, ever preparing for the final solution. I look forward to the opportunity to start the final solution and hopefully that chance will come in the upcoming week. If not, I will wait patiently and work diligently until said opportunity appears. Once I begin working on the final solution, I will actually get to see my product come to life. Thank you.

Update 12/1

As the calendar changes to December, I too will look to advance to the next stage. Auto-CAD drawings are coming very near completion, and honestly I am relieved. Auto-CAD is most certainly not my strong point, but I would be remiss if I did not realize the importance of these virtual representations of my final drawings. Creating an accurate 3D model is perhaps the most important aspect of the entire design process. Building off of an ineffective drawing could be fatal to the whole production stage of the project, so I do not mind sacrificing more of my time to ensure quality in the Auto-CAD realm. Hopefully it will be fully completed by the end of the week. Thank you.
