Week of 11/15
It is the beginning of the new marking period and the first marking period was a great success. This week I will begin production of my final model and that process will be carried out throughout the next two marking periods. Also this week, I will have my review with my teachers about my formal progress update and will learn how I fared on that item. I am proud of the presentation I gave, and look forward to their review. First item of business is translating my model into a final product, and that will not be an easy task.

Update 11/12
The week is completed and so is the marking period. I have done very well so far this week with completing my mentor contacts as well as having a conference regarding my formal progress update. I received much commendation for my report and they were very impressed. There are five primary goals that stem from the next marking period. They are class participation, formal progress update, press release, mentor contacts, and work that is done in class. These tasks are vital to my completion of the project and I will continue to put my best effort forward into completing these tasks. Let's go.

Update 11/9
Today is being devoted to mentor contacts. I need to write up the five interactions I have had with my two mentors, respectively. That is four meetings with JW and one with DF. The rest of the class needs to finish their presentations tomorrow which means I will not be able to do much for my project, but a day off can be refreshing. Marking period two is fast approaching and that will bring a new list of challenges that need to be accomplished. I look forward to the chance to continue working on my unique project.

Week of 11/8
Much of the class still needs to do their formal progress update presentations, but thankfully my partner and I are finished with that task. This week will be devoted to preparing my mentor contacts and finishing up the first marking period. I am proud of the work that I did this first quarter and look forward to the rest of the year. Stay tuned for more!

Isometric Drawing
The above is an Auto-CAD rendering of the visual representation of our final solution. The purpose of this drawing is to show the location of the batteries and motor in our design. Thank you.
Week of 11/1
This week is hectic, to say the least. Tomorrow is my formal progress update, and I have a lot of preparing to do tonight. The presentation needs to be five minutes long and will serve as a summary of all my work to date. It will include my design brief, specs and limits, developmental work, and imagery. This is a giant workload, but I have been completing it throughout the year. I am excited for this opportunity to explain my project to my peers. Wish me luck.
